Privacy Policy

Skorbot (skorbot.live) is a free, points-based football prediction game. This page explains what data we handle. We keep it to the minimum the service needs.

Visiting the website

You can read predictions, pages, the blog and the API without an account. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies and we do not run third-party analytics. The site is served through Cloudflare, which processes technical data such as your IP address and browser type to deliver and protect the site. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, so Google receives your IP address when a page loads.

Playing the game

If you play without an account, your predictions are stored only in your own browser. If you sign in, we store:

  • your e-mail address, used only to send you a sign-in link;
  • a simplified form of that address, to stop the same address from opening several accounts;
  • the username you choose, which is shown on the leaderboard;
  • your score predictions and points.

We do not sell or share this data, and we do not send marketing e-mail. Account data is kept while your account exists.

Social media accounts

Skorbot publishes its own prediction videos and posts to its own accounts on YouTube, Instagram, Threads, TikTok, X, Telegram and Bluesky through each platform's official API. These connections are authorised only by the Skorbot team for Skorbot's own accounts. We do not collect personal data about you or other users of these platforms through them. Access tokens are stored on our own servers and are used only to publish Skorbot content.

Skorbot uses YouTube API Services. By watching our videos on YouTube you are also subject to the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy. Access granted to Skorbot can be revoked at any time on the Google security settings page.

Deleting your data

To delete your account and all data linked to it, send an e-mail to [email protected] from the address you signed in with. We delete the data within 30 days and confirm by e-mail. The same applies to any data we may hold from a platform connection.
